CMI Organics Manages the Manure and Composting Operation at a fully permitted 150 acre dairy in Northern Colorado.  We start with the raw manure and blend in our carbon source / bulking agent which consist of yard waste and animal bedding. We then windrow the material and turn the windrows on a regular basis to achieve the proper temperatures to destroy pathogens and weed seeds.
